We adopt a balanced strategy in teaching both owners and dogs, ensuring that you understand how to lead while your dog learns to follow. Our goal is for the skills you acquire during dog obedience training to positively impact all aspects of your life. If you’re eager to transform your lives together, Elevation Canine is here to assist you on your journey with our expertise as a dog behaviorist. Don't wait any longer!
Life has a funny way of unfolding differently than you expect. Joshua Richardson, the Head Trainer at Elevation Canine, has a unique story in the canine training industry, as he didn’t grow up surrounded by dogs. He actually got his first dog, a blue-nose Pitbull named Blue, at the age of 19, an experience that would change his life in unexpected ways. Blue was a big ball of love from the start, but he posed challenges with basic obedience and was a nightmare to walk. Additionally, his hyper-reactivity to other dogs made things more difficult. Joshua often felt hopeless, believing that the dog he adored was unfixable. However, with time, patience, and the right structure in his dog obedience training, he transformed Blue into the wonderful companion he was always meant to be. Since then, Joshua has successfully assisted hundreds of families as a dog behaviorist, and he can't wait to help yours next.
We love caring for pets! If you're interested in canine training or seeking a dog behaviorist, schedule a meet and greet right here on our site. If you have a special request regarding dog obedience training, send us a message, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The first step is a behavioral evalutaion, which you can book by clicking “book now“ on the home page or the pricing and packages page. After your evaluation we can discuss which program will be the best fit for you and your dog
Ultimately the question that needs answering to determine that is if you have the time and ability outside of training sessions to do the work. While follow through is necessary regardless, some busy clients find that our board & train program is the best fit for them. While others want a more hands on approach to the training process.
No, you cannot split sessions between multiple dogs for the sole purpose of making sure Elevation Canine is meeting agreed standards with each canine.
